Jennifer Caryn Brand Nutrition is looking for the perfect addition to the growing team to support children struggling with chronic skin issues and their families. This is a virtual (work from home), part-time contractor position to support clients, and Jennifer in day-to-day tasks associated with the practice. If you’ve had an interest in helping children thrive, this is a great way to do that!

The tasks required in this role can (but do not need to) fit into an average Monday thru Friday, 9-5 schedule. Our dream clinical coordinator is open to finding their own rhythm and creating a schedule that serves their life while also ensuring they get the job done.Â

The clinical nutrition assistant’s responsibilities will include (and are not limited to)...
- Client and potential client inquiry triage
- Manage the Jennifer Caryn Brand business email inbox, Practice Better, and other incoming inquiries, and answer common questions in a professional and cheerful manner, and forward messages to Jennifer as needed
- Establish and implement strategies to streamline response strategy
- Assist with, and develop documentation and SOPs for
- Client and potential client inquiries and responsesÂ
- Client files, case notes, and protocols
- Intake and follow-up sessions, lab information, symptoms and diet tracking, etc.
- Client onboarding, scheduling, and rescheduling
- Establish and implement strategies to streamline client-related work effortsÂ
- Organize, improve, and develop clinical and client workflow, and templates
- Internal resources and references
- Catalog frequently used supplements, test findings, recommendations, interventions, etc.Â
- Assist with online group programs and courses
- Conduct research to be used for social media content, programs, courses, client-related work, etc.
- Create client educational materials

The team relies on certain platforms including:
- Google Drive (Docs, Sheets, etc.)
- Gmail
- Zoom
- Practice Better
- Kajabi

You will be using many if not all of these platforms at Jennifer Caryn Brand Nutrition. And likely others! If you do not have a working knowledge of most of these platforms, you should be able to quickly get up to speed with them, and with other technology platforms in general.

- Experience in functional medicine, functional and clinical nutrition (CNS would be ideal!)

- Compensation is based on previous experience
- This is a part-time contractor position (10 hours/wk) with the potential for more
- You must have access to reliable high-speed internet and phone
- This is a growing position and will require phone or video meetings weekly for about 30 minutes at a regularly scheduled time (note we are in the Pacific time zone)
- You make your own schedule (within reason), showing up for meetings on time is crucial and being timely with communications is important
- You must sign an NDA
- Hours are tracked using an approved time tracking app and submitted via an invoice every month for payment

Media and Outreach Coordinator
Clinical Nutritionist Jennifer Brand is looking for the perfect addition to her growing team to support children struggling with chronic skin conditions. This is a virtual (work from home), part-time contractor position to support media and outreach efforts, and Jennifer in the day-to-day tasks associated with getting the word out that we can help children with dry, flaky, weepy, red, itchy, painful rashes navigate the journey to healthy skin and enjoy a childhood free from disruptive skin symptoms. If you’ve had an interest in helping children thrive, this is a great way!
This is a growth opportunity, and a chance to work closely with Jennifer to develop the role further based on your experience and expertise.
The tasks required in this role can (but do not need to) fit into an average Monday thru Friday, 9-5 schedule. Our dream media and outreach assistant is open to finding their own rhythm and creating a schedule that serves their life while also ensuring they get the job done.
The media outreach assistant’s responsibilities will include (and are not limited to)...
- Brand voice: Act as the brand voice for Jennifer Caryn Brand Nutrition on social media/in the media by proactively managing, developing and executing a regular posting strategy, including researching, creating, and repurposing engaging content that grows the Jennifer Caryn Brand Nutrition brand, such as blog posts, videos, graphics, etc., designing the images, scheduling the posts, and developing and leveraging content for video creation
- Brand growth: Innovate, develop, and execute strategies to help grow Jennifer Caryn Brand Nutrition’s blog, social media channels, and overall brand both in customer engagement (comments, views, dialogue, sharing) and metrics (number of followers, number of click-throughs to jennifercarynbrandnutrition.com)
- Copywriting: Take the lead for writing and editing email newsletters, social media captions and content, presentations, speeches, and various marketing materials
- Podcasts, interviews, speaking opportunities: Identify opportunities and write pitches for podcasts and other interviews for Jennifer
- Develop and maintain “pitch” calendar with appropriate topics
- Pitching Jennifer to be a guest and coordinating interview (with all need-to-know details so she can show up prepared)
- Maintain Jennifer’s interview schedule
- Online group programs and courses: Assist with copy and graphics, and promote online group programs and courses on various media platforms
- Client educational materials: Assist with copy and graphics, and promote materials on various media platforms
- Content calendar and documentation: Maintain internal documentation to track content, posted content, engagement, growth, etc.
- Brainstorm and research new content
- Coordinate logistics/vendors for photo/video shoots
- Coordinate giveaways as well as holiday and specialty promotions (ie. Black Friday, Christmas, special sales, etc.)
